MeCust (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a local-only membership management application developed by MeCust. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Important: MeCust is a LOCAL-ONLY application. ALL member data is stored exclusively on your device. We do NOT collect, upload, share, or transmit any user data—including names, phone numbers, member consumption records, or store data—to any cloud server.

2. Data We Collect

The App collects the following data solely for local functionality:

Member Information: Names, phone numbers, gender, birthday, and custom fields you enter
Transaction Data: Membership card purchases, consumption records, and recharge history
Store Settings: Store name, business hours, card templates, and service product information
Walk-in Records: Cash consumption records for non-member customers
Notes: Any notes or memos you create within the App

All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

3. Third-Party SDKs

The App may include the following third-party components for core functionality:

Google Mobile Ads: For displaying advertisements (LOCAL version: advertisements are disabled)
Google Sign-In: For user authentication (LOCAL version: disabled)
Crash Reporting: For app stability improvement (LOCAL version: disabled)

These services may collect limited device information as per their respective privacy policies. In the LOCAL version, all cloud-based services are disabled.

4. Permissions We Request

We only request permissions necessary for the App's functionality:

Storage Permission: Used for local backup and restore of your data. Your data is exported as an encrypted backup file to your device's storage.
Network Permission: Required for receiving app updates and displaying advertisements (LOCAL version: limited network access)

5. Data Security

We implement the following measures to protect your local data:

Local database encryption using SQLite with secure storage
No data transmission to external servers
Backup files can be password-protected
Secure deletion of all data upon app uninstallation

6. Your Rights

As a LOCAL version user, you have full control over your data:

Data Access: All your data is accessible within the App
Data Export: You can export all data as a backup file at any time
Data Deletion: You can delete individual records or clear all data through the App's settings
Complete Removal: Uninstalling the App automatically deletes all data from your device

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device until you choose to delete it. Upon uninstallation, all data is automatically and permanently removed from your device. We do not retain any copies of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
